Important Dates to Remember:
Attention Grade 8 Applicants:
*The application process for the 2024-2025 school year will open on Monday November 6th on the TDSB website until Friday November 24th. Please click on the Central website link to the central student interest program website for more general information/details about the application/admission process including applying, updates and important dates. The TDSB has made changes to the application process for all TDSB special interest programs. Some of the changes include a centralized TDSB online application at the board level and a random selection process. Entrance tests and report cards are no longer part of the TDSB application process for central student interest programs.

Application Deadline 2023:
The deadline is now determined by the TDSB for all specialized programs. It is now a centralized online application and a centralized random selection process (lottery) directly through the TDSB with access priority for historically underserved communities and 50% female-identifying applicants.
November 6, 2023– Online Application opens on the TDSB website (Central website)
November 24, 2023- Online Application closes on the TDSB website at 4:00pm.
December 7, 2023– Round 1 (Acceptances and Waitlist Status sent centrally to families by the school board.) Deadline to accept is 4pm December 13, 2023.
December 14, 2023– Round 2 (Students who were on the Waitlist in round 1 that receive an offer have until December 20, 2023 to accept.)
February 21, 2024– Late offers for any space that becomes available (final round of offers).

If any spots become available after the final round of offers until the start of school the TDSB will send a local waitlist in June to schools. The local waitlist will consist of students who were on the waitlist after the final round of offers that live within the school boundary and are scheduled to attend their home school.
Notification Letters for the 2024-2025 school year:
The TDSB central office will send notification emails to all applicants. Please check the TDSB website for important updates. The random selection process for Central Student Interest Programs will occur centrally and all communication will come from noreplyregistration@powerschool.com. Please do not contact schools directly for selection results.
