From 10:45 – 11:30am help us support Terry’s dream of finding a cure for cancer by participating in our annual Terry Fox Run.

All parents are invited to attend our first School Council Meeting of the 2014-15 school year. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Mackenzie and to get involved with School Council. School Council meets regularly throughout the school year.

Come to school looking your best! Next Tuesday is student photo day at W.L. Mackenzie.

Please note that starting at 7:00 pm on Thursday September  11, the school is hosting Grade 9 Curriculum Night. This is an opportunity to learn about Mackenzie’s grade 9 program. You will have a chance to walk in your child’s shoes through a shortened rotation of their classes. Parents of children in the MaCS program are asked to remain for a presentation on the upcoming field trip.

Parents will follow their child’s timetable schedule.  Please note that teacher room locations for the evening will be modified.  Please remember to bring your child’s timetable on Curriculum Night and we will provide you with an updated teacher location list upon arrival.
